CranioSacral Study Groups
Study groups give you an opportunity to sharpen your skills and deepen your understanding of CranioSacral Therapy while networking with other CST therapists worldwide. Prior attendance at the appropriate-level class is required.
Participants will have the opportunity to:

Review the anatomy and physiology of the craniosacral system

Explore the relationship between the craniosacral system and illness, pain and dysfunction

Practice performing the 10-Step Protocol

Practice mouth work and sphenoid releases
-
Effectively release fascial restrictions
-
Deepen your knowledge about cranial nerves and neuroanatomy related to the craniosacral system

Better understand the immune system and how to use CST for addressing immune dysfunction
-
Explore the concepts and practice working with energy cysts, facilitated segments, and SomatoEmotional Release
-
Gain confidence and strengthen your skills in using therapeutic imagery and dialoging to support a client's emotional release process
My online study groups utilize the Zoom meeting platform. Be sure you have downloaded the Zoom application prior to your first online study group and that you are a registered Zoom user with a free account. Meetings typically begin at 1 PM Pacific (California) time unless otherwise noted.
Because space is limited in the in-person study groups, prepayment is required to hold your spot.

These one-hour CST study groups usually take place on the first Tuesday of the month. They cover topics from the CSCN1/Cranial Nerves class. Topics vary depending on requests from participants. Please feel free to email questions to me ahead of time. Prior attendance at CSCN1 is required.
There is a $20 fee (U.S. funds) for participation. You will receive Category B Mentorship credit if you're tracking time for that. Also, I will record the calls so you will have access to them afterward or if you can not join us live. Online access will be available for 60 days.
Signing up is a simple two-step process.

Hard Palate Study Group

In this 75- to 90-minute online study group, we will look at the components of the hard palate and discuss how they relate to what Dr. Upledger called our Avenue of Expression!
Dr. Upledger described the Avenue of Expression as being "composed of all structures, tissues, fluids and energies involved in the allowance of oral expression of thoughts, images, feelings, sounds, emotions and so on.”
While we will not cover all structures that make up the Avenue of Expression, we will review the anatomy of these important components:
* Zygomas
* Maxillas
* Vomer
* Palatines
* Soft tissues and muscles associated with these bones
* Neurologic and vascular associations

The study group will be particularly helpful for those who have taken CS2, SER1, SER2, or Cranial Nerves classes. Newer therapists will gain a richer understanding of how our 10-Step Protocol, for instance, can influence the hard palate and Avenue of Expression.
