CranioSacral Study Groups

Study groups give you an opportunity to sharpen your skills and deepen your understanding of CranioSacral Therapy while networking with other CST therapists worldwide. Prior attendance at the appropriate-level class is required.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Review the anatomy and physiology of the craniosacral system

  • Explore the relationship between the craniosacral system and illness, pain and dysfunction

  • Practice performing the 10-Step Protocol

  • Practice mouth work and sphenoid releases

  • Effectively release fascial restrictions

  • Deepen your knowledge about cranial nerves and neuroanatomy related to the craniosacral system

  • Better understand the immune system and how to use CST for addressing immune dysfunction

  • Explore the concepts and practice working with energy cysts, facilitated segments, and SomatoEmotional Release

  • Gain confidence and strengthen your skills in using therapeutic imagery and dialoging to support a client's emotional release process

My online study groups utilize the Zoom meeting platform. Be sure you have downloaded the Zoom application prior to your first online study group and that you are a registered Zoom user with a free account. Meetings typically begin at 1 PM Pacific (California) time unless otherwise noted.

Because space is limited in the in-person study groups, prepayment is required to hold your spot.

Anatomy

Anatomy Study Group:
Frontal and Parietal Bones

March 17, 2026

Click here to register.

The frontal bone and parietal bones often don't get too much attention. They are rather flat, sort-of boring-looking bones compared to the fancier sphenoid or temporal bones.

But on March 17, we'll dive deeper into the anatomy of these three structures and see what surprises they hold as we discuss their detailed anatomy and function, including . . .

* Embryologic development of the frontal and parietals

* Articulations to other cranial bones

* Soft tissue and membranous associations, including frontal sinuses and the meninges

* Neurologic and vascular associations

We will also cover . . .

* Conditions that might arise if there's a problem or restriction with the frontal or parietals

* How to palpate and blend with the bones and their related structures

WHO WILL BENEFIT?
This is an excellent follow-on to our other anatomy study groups that looked at the occiput, temporal bones, and sphenoid. Here, we round out our studies of the primary boney structures of the neurocranium. This study group will also benefit any CranioSacral therapist who has ever done a frontal lift or parietal lift. (And that's likely all of you!)

NOTE: These study groups provide an anatomy review only and do not address specific CST techniques.

There is a $25 fee (U.S. funds) for participation in this study group. You will receive Category B Mentorship credit if you're tracking time for that. Also, I will record the call so you will have access to it afterward or if you can not join us live. Online viewing will be available for 60 days.
