CranioSacral Study Groups

Study groups give you an opportunity to sharpen your skills and deepen your understanding of CranioSacral Therapy while networking with other CST therapists worldwide. Prior attendance at the appropriate-level class is required.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Review the anatomy and physiology of the craniosacral system

  • Explore the relationship between the craniosacral system and illness, pain and dysfunction

  • Practice performing the 10-Step Protocol

  • Practice mouth work and sphenoid releases

  • Effectively release fascial restrictions

  • Deepen your knowledge about cranial nerves and neuroanatomy related to the craniosacral system

  • Better understand the immune system and how to use CST for addressing immune dysfunction

  • Explore the concepts and practice working with energy cysts, facilitated segments, and SomatoEmotional Release

  • Gain confidence and strengthen your skills in using therapeutic imagery and dialoging to support a client's emotional release process

My online study groups utilize the Zoom meeting platform. Be sure you have downloaded the Zoom application prior to your first online study group and that you are a registered Zoom user with a free account. Meetings typically begin at 1 PM Pacific (California) time unless otherwise noted.

Because space is limited in the in-person study groups, prepayment is required to hold your spot.

Anatomy Study Group on
Anatomical Anomalies, Variations,
and Curious Connections

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of different types of anatomical anomalies and variations that might present in a human being. They can be congenital, i.e,. present at birth; developmental, i.e., appearing later in life; or acquired, resulting from an injury, disease, or surgery.

Some of these anatomical anomalies are benign and cause no problems throughout a person‘s life. Others may cause various types of challenges within the musculoskeletal, nervous, or vascular systems.

In this 90-minute or longer online study groupwe look at some interesting common and not-so-common anatomical variations that might show up in a client you see in your craniosacral practice.

We will explore:
* Oral tori (torus palatinus and torus mandibularis)
* Cleft palate
* Cricopharyngeal bar
* Cervical ribs
* Spina bifida
* And a few more obscure but fascinating anomalies

In addition, we will look at an interesting anatomical connection between the tongue and the big toe. Did you know? Sign up today and find out more!

NOTE: This study group is an anatomy review only and does not address specific CST techniques.
